Marc Cherry

Nicollette Sheridan Sues 'Desperate Housewives'

WOW! This certainly came out of the blue, didn't it? I thought the split was amicable?!
It was announced today that Nicollette Sheridan is suing 'Desperate Housewives' creator Marc Cherry. The actress has launched a legal battle with the show's creator over allegations he slapped her during a fight about the script and then fired her when she complained to producers.
In the legal papers, obtained by TMZ.com, Sheridan claims Cherry "forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head". She is suing for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination.
The actress also maintains that Cherry created a hostile work environment by "behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner toward the individuals who work on the show".
This is unreal! If Marc really hit Sheridan and then killed her off shortly thereafter, I'd say she has a fight in this battle. I just wonder why she took so long to come forward with the information. Maybe she needed time to process what happened.
The dark side of Hollywood.
